this is really powerful and interesting. What's the line of thought behind it?

One of those personal pieces....
went through a tough seperation a year or so ago. Did alot of internal artwork. The other scupltures were a part of that body of work but this is really the one that realted the most to my stuggle and feelings, hense "self-portrait". Relating it to domesticity, pain, and sorrow implicated by the feminine. Self-portraits are the hardest to discuss, because they relate to the artist in a personal way. I'm currently working on a series of short stories that also relate to some of these events. I should have some posted later this month... let you know.
